you are planning to get married and are considering a Methodist Church then we shall be pleased to help and would ask you
to contact our Minister, the Reverend Ken Blake who provides marriage preparation and appropriate guidance and advice at local
level.
Baptisms
and Confirmations
We are always delighted to welcome parents who wish to have
their children baptized and this is normally included in Sunday morning worship. You should approach our Minister, the
Reverend Ken Blake at the earliest possible moment to make the necessary arrangements.
Infant Thanksgiving
Some
parents feel that a service of baptism is not the most appropriate service for them but want to thank God publicly for the
birth of their child and this can be done at a service called an “Act of Thanksgiving after the Birth of a Child”.

Funerals
Most
people use the services of a local funeral director who will provide advice and organise all the practical arrangements.
